What is a Norman Door ?

A Norman Door is a door that

1. tells you to do the opposite of what you’re actually supposed to do
2. gives the wrong signal and needs a sign to correct it

like this one where the handle tell you to pull and the sign on it ask you to push the door.

The name of this phenomenon goes back to Professor Donald Norman  who wrote the book named “The Design of Everyday Things”
